I suppose late is better than never. I’m publishing this report 4 months late.
Fall 2015 and Christmas season was busy; Fat Stacks fell by the wayside. I focus on my niche sites and as this report shows, things weren’t good so I had to roll up my sleeves and fix problems.
I also don’t like putting these together because it’s tedious going through all the accounts.
The year-end finally prompted me to get these income reports up-to-date. More will follow.
In a nutshell, September 2015 was my worst month in a long time.
Taking time off took its toll. So too did testing various ad management services as well as a tough ad-buying environment. The stars were not aligned.
To add insult to injury, organic search traffic for my B2C site plunged about 20%. That really hurt because my long term goal is to consistently grow organic search traffic.
To this date I have no explanation as to the drop in organic search traffic.
Please note this income report pertains to 2 niche sites of mine. It does NOT include net income from Fat Stacks (which is growing very quickly due to the popularity of my authority website course (now called Niche Tycoon),my local offline marketing clients or any other niche sites (I’ve expanded my niche site portfolio in recent months).

September 2015 Income Report:
Niche Site #1 (Large B2C Magazine Style Website):
Display Ad Revenue: $28,622.89
Affiliate Commission Revenue: $2,974.55
Total revenue for site 1: $31,597.44 USD

Niche Site #2 (Targeted Niche Site):
Affiliate commission revenue: $9,159.67 USD (this is total revenue for site #2).

TOTAL REVENUE BOTH SITES: $40,757.10
Expenses (Both Sites):

Net Profit for Both Niche Sites: $13,113.78 USD
It was a bad month compared to previous months. It happens.
Buying traffic was not profitable at all.
Organic search traffic plunged 20%.
That makes for bad results.
Figure out how to regain lost organic search traffic and grow it. The passive nature of this traffic appeals to me.
Diversification Kept Me in the Black
A bad month shows why being diversified is good. My B2C website didn’t do well, but my B2B profits helped pay the bills. While B2B is a very slow grower and probably won’t ever reach metoric heights like B2C sites can, the B2B niche sites can steady out bad months.
