A website listed for sale is being sold by a guy who has flipped over 175 websites.
I’ve sold a grand total of 6 sites.
Here’s what he does.
He launches or buys a site.
Fixes it up.
Flips it for a profit.
What gets me is how quickly he can improve a website’s performance.
Website Listing: See website listing here
Purchased: July 2020 earning $250/mo with 5,941 page views
Last month: December 2020 earnings at $943/mo with 9,600 page views
Look at the numbers of his current listing above. He nearly quadrupled a site’s value in 6 months.
His formula is actually a formula.
Over the years he’s put together a simple-to-follow checklist of 120 things he does to his sites that improves them.
I now have his highly actionable checklist.
Whether your plan to flip or hold onto your site, the checklist makes it easy to make your website perform better.
I went through every item.
I discovered 9 things he does that I wasn’t doing on my niche sites that were great suggestions. I’ve since deployed them.
Focus on the important tasks
I’m a big believer in focusing on only those tasks that get you the best results.
That’s what this checklist is.
Chances are you’re doing some of the stuff on the list.
But I also suspect you aren’t doing everything.
Not that every item applies to every site, but I’ve been doing this for a long time and I found 9 very easy-to-implement tasks that will make my niche sites better.
If you like simple checklists to help you grow your site, get the actionable checklist here.
Speaking of focusing on important tasks, sometimes new things you try work out really, really good.
That’s one reason I run Fat Stacks. I have high-traffic sites where I can test things, get results pretty fast and report back to you whether in a free email or in my courses.
One big win, actually it’s two I’ve enjoyed over the past year is social media.
Go figure.
I’m not going to get into all the details now but I’m getting a lot of free traffic from Pinterest AND Facebook.
I’ve told you all about the Pinterest traffic over the last 9 months.
But Facebook is a huge surprise.
I’m talking 10,000 to 20,000+ visitors per DAY. All free.
I don’t think it’ll work in every niche but I think there’s potential for many niches.
I haven’t figured out a formula, but I’ll say this – IMO, it’s worth exploring.
Last year Facebook started this really annoying verification requirements for page owners. It was a total nuisance for me and I know it was for others but those page owners who jumped through FB’s hoops are now verified and I suspect that FB is giving a little more reach because of that. I’m just guessing but that could be it.
I never thought I’d say this but my social traffic is almost as high as search traffic. Not quite, but it’s close. I prefer search traffic but I’ll take the easy and free social traffic as well.
